Ok, so I have this logo from an Illustrator file, that I’m trying to animate in AE. I don’t know how big we’ll want the eventual animation to be, whether in a corner, or filling screen.

So, right now, when I select all the layers in the logo and drag, They resize using their individual anchor points, rather than a shared anchor point that would allow the logo to remain the same proportions.

I put the layers into a precomp, and I can resize that, but when I go into the precomp, the logo fills the whole comp. I want to open my precomp and see exactly what I see in my regular comp, so I’m not flipping back and forth.

Ideas? I don’t know how clear that was.. but any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

create a new null, then select all the ai layers and parent them to the null, then scale the null.

you can also use that null to reposition all the layers.
