Scale and reposition a layer in Z-Space
Hello all, Motion user diving into After Effects.
I’m wanting to do something similar to this Motion tutorial: https://www.box.net/shared/static/e8tso4m0c0.movI think I’ve got all of the tools I need to do it in After Effects except I don’t know how to push something back in Z Space and scale it proportionally. Towards the middle of this tutorial (when the playback “head” is under the record button) you can see Mark Spencer is moving an object back in Z-Space and holding Command to make the layer scale while it moves.
Is there a single-step means to do this in AE, or is it position back and guess on the scale?

This is one thing that I really miss about Motion. This, among many other things in 3d comps, was SOOOO much easier to do.
