Scale a layer with vector paint
Hello, I have a shape layer named “touchups” that I used vector paint on. Below this layer is a movie of someone’s silhouette. I drew on the vector paint layer so that it fixes some imperfections in the silhouette.
Now, I want to scale the silhouette and keep the touchups in the correct location. I tried to set the silhouette layer as the parent of the touchups, but the touchups layer will not scale even by itself.
Is there a trick to getting it to work?

Have you tried precomposing those layers and scaling the precomp?

That works, thanks! Should I have used vector paint to make touchups to my silhouette? I tried using regular paint, but in the layer view when you are painting, the clip was sideways because I had rotated the source in the composition. Also, I tried regular paint on a layer above the source, but then in the layer view when painting I couldn’t see the silhouette layer below.
Was there a way to see the layer below while painting, if I had used regular paint on a transparent layer?
