My footage is 1080p. I want to edit in a 720p timeline so I can scale my footage bigger than the sequence size.

When I place my footage in the sequence, is sizes down to the sequence size, but the clip’s scale still says 100%. Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks

    Hi,
You probably have scale to frame size selected in preferences. You can right click the clip in the sequence and deselect that option on an individual basis or alter the preference altogether.
    Hope that helps
