saving .psd on Win for Mac
Hi-
Can I save a CMYK/8 .psd in PhotoShop Cs2 on WinXP and be confident that it can be opened in PhotoShop CS2 on a Mac ? I’m asking because someone is requesting that I save it on a Mac before I send it to her, and I don’t understand why, and she can’t explain why (oh, and I don’t have access to a Mac)

You don’t need to do anything special. The files that Photoshop (and most applications for that matter) creates on either OS are compatible with the program on both OS’s.
Your friend probably just needs a little more education about cross-platform compatibility.
