hello – – a very simple question, yet I can’t figure it out! Is there any way to save out a newer version of an After Effects project so I can open it up to work on it in an older version? Thank you!

oh and one last thing… are there problems shifting from mac to PC and the other way when working with AFX projects (as long as I’m not using any special plugins…)? Thanks… again!

No. You can’t save an AE project as an earlier version.

Going from PC to Mac is generally relatively seamless, but you may have to tell it where your footage is since the file paths are different on the OS’s. Also, if you’re using any fonts or third-party plug-ins, you need to make sure that they’re installed on both machines.
