  Saving My Eyes – ACD 23″ vs. Dell u2140

  Hello friends,

  I currently have a 23″ Apple Cinema Display and want to have dual monitors with my dreamcolor home setup and am debating purchasing a good condition matching ACD from Craigslist or a new pair of Dell u2410’s.

  I have seen a few on CL in my city but I have read here about others recommending the dell u2410’s as an alternative to ACD. Some people seem to find it to be straining on the eyes where as the ACD 23″ is not.

  I would sell my ACD on CL as well if the Dell’s were better but I am finding mixed reviews – what are people’s opinions about these 2 monitors? Obviously the ACD 23″ is pretty old but is there any new technology in the Dell u2410 that makes it better? i have read its really bright and saturated and takes a lot a lot of calibrating to get them to a sweet spot.

  Is one better than the other in terms of picture quality?
