I am doing a fairly complex timeline edit of some footage that I am chopping up to a beat.

Does anyone know if its possible to group some of those edits and save them into a bin so if I want to reuse those groups of edits I dont have to copy and paste them from the timeline?

Basically I want a efficient way of experimenting with complex rhythmic edits!

    Thanks.

You could make your smaller edits in their own sequences and you could edit those sequences from the bin to your main sequence.

Nesting is one way to do this.

then you’ll have a corresponding sequence in your project panel that you can drop into any timeline…

if you need to expose the edits again…

just flatten that instance the of the nest in the sequence you’ve dropped it in…

    make sense?
