    Hi everyone,
Im new to your thread, but hope someone can help me solve a problem.
Actually I also have a question
#1. Is anyone running SP 3 with Adobe Premiere Pro cs3 and have you encountered any problems? I used to have premiere 6.5, but when sp 2 was downloaded it quit on me, so Im very afraid to download sp3.

#2. Okay, now to my real problem. Here is what I do. I video tape stock car races every week, bring it home and make a DVD to sell at the track the following week. Our season runs from now until October.
So what I need to do, and used to be able to do very easily with 6.5, is save crash clips, sometimes 8-10 a night, to use at the end of the season in a wins and spins video. With 6.5 I used to be able to just cut the clip on the timeline, right click, and save it to a file. I cannot do that with Prem pro. Also, after a couple of weeks I delete the original video from my computer to make space for other weeks, but still need the clips to work without the original footage.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, the only thing I can figure to do is render each clip individually and that just seems stupid, not to mention time consuming.

    Thanks all
    Tonya

#1: Haven’t tried SP3 either. Is there a reason to update? I’d rather hold off until forced to do so.

#2: You must be talking about ‘File> Export Timeline> Movie’, right? How in 6.5 is there any other way to save a video clip? And just like in 6.5, you can export in CS3 via ‘File> Export> Movie’.
