Saving Camera & PP Settings on Cheap SD card
I have an EX1 and am using a Hoodman adapter. Just got back my firmware update and all my settings are gone. Manual says I need to store on SxS card but is it possible to use a small (2-4 gb) inexpensive SDHC card in my adapter and save/store the settings I have re-installed? Do I really need a class 6 or 10 card to do this?

I don\’t use SDHC cards so I don\’t know if it will work or not. There\’s no harm in trying. Either the settings will stick or they won\’t.

I don’t see any issue with this- it’s like a few KB of data. Zero point in SxS.

I keep the PP on each card. The space taken up is just above zero so you will not lose any appreciable recording time. I do use SDHC for home use but only cards that work on 1.11 firmware.
