I can’t ‘save current frame’ in Motion 5. Dialogue comes up but than it keeps showing the progress bar ‘thinking’. Software has not crashed, just doesn’t do anything.

Maybe I just got a bad install?

    Thanks!

    Hi Carsten,

Did you ever find a solution to this? I just updated to 5.0.2 Tuesday and I’m still having this problem.

    Thanks,
    David

This works fine for me on 5.0.1 and now on 5.0.2. It takes longer than you’d think it should for sure, but it works – for me, anyway.

Motion 5.0.2 here. Save Current Frame as a PNG file produces nothing but a checkered background (my current frame is a full edge-to-edge graphic with no transparency) however saving as JPEG works.

    — CORRECTION —

After trashing my preference files (just to check) saving current frame as PNG is working fine.
