Quite often I am resizing my large 6ftx2ft PSD file down to something alot smaller in JPG format so i can email it off to a client to proof.

I have to resize the image down to a smaller size…then save as JPG … then i have to resize the PSD back to the normal size that i work with.

Is there an automated way to save large PSD files down to a image file without going through all of those steps?

Also…on the lower left corner of image windows in photoshop…there are some numbers that read:

Doc: 74.2M/685.0M What exactly do those numbers represent?

    thanks in advance!
