“Save as archive button”
I might be off here, but I´ve installed CatDv 8.1.9 on my new workstation, and I can´t find the “Save as archive button”.
I´ve activated advanced menus and my path based previews are paying alright, but still no save as archive. I hope this function is still here, cause we found it really useful when distributing catalogs to off-house loggers.

It’s still there, but it’s an obsolete feature not recommended for most users as it only works with tape-based previews. To activate it you need to enter feature code OBS in advanced functionality preferences and also enable tape-based previews and uncheck the “prefer path” option. It’s not a button but a command in the File menu.

Hi rolf, quick question:
I once again had to give preview files to an external logger and this time I gave him the preview files and a cataloge, not an archive. And now he has problems viewing anything. What exactly are the correct mapping and settings for him to relink the files?
By the way, love the product and your customer support.
