Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 64 not showing up with MacPro 5.1
I‘m trying to keep my MacPro 5.1 in the game and got it Metal- and Mojave-ready by replacing 2 Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan X in a Netstor 255a GPU expander as well as a very old ATI Radeon 5770 for GUI with 3 Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580. That was easy, everything‘s running smoothly and I‘m back in business on Mojave.
But I wonder if I can increase GPU power and thus replaced those two RX 580 in the GPU expander with two Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB. Apple names them possibly compatible with Mojave: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208898 . But the result is: system won’t boot up, displays remain black.
Can’t test Vega in onboard inside the MacPro – due to its massive form factor.
Any ideas?

This is more of a Mac Pro problem than a Resolve problem per se. You should go to one of the hardware-specific 5.1 Mac Pro forums out on the web; the Mac Pro group on Facebook is very active and gets questions like this every day.
