Same project, different file size…
Hey guys, I have a question rather than a problem. Do to mistakes and glitches, I’ve rebuilt my DVD project several times. Each time, with the same files and vids. What is getting me is that every time the actual amount of space, that it would take up on a disc, is different. Usually varying between 1mb and 60mb, but this time, there is a 1gig difference. What’s going on? I’m using the same files!

Not sure that I understand your question, but I suspect it’s due to Encore’s automatic transcoding feature, which adjusts the bit rate up or down depending on the amount of free space in the project.
