Has anyone played with the S&Q functions with the F3? I’m starting my research and testing for an upcoming project. Just looking for tips and any lessons learned.

16-18 frames for action sequences (shaky feel)
60 frame for an occasional slo-mo.

Obviously I’m a little worried about compromised resolution, but I’m determined to shoot this project with the F3.

    Thanks

I have owned an F-3 since February 11, and while I played with the S & Q dial a few times, the beauty of an F-3 is the pristine 1080i images, and when you compare the same shot as 720p from the F-3 (as I have in normal motion and slow motion) you will never use the S & Q dial again. Disappointing as I was always hoping for an in camera slo-mo of liquid feel with the new camera, but alas the F-3 is not the answer.
