Just shot my first project in S-Log since the upgrade to 10.3 and I’ve found it’s randomly applying a LUT to the footage on import. It’s not a major issue as I can turn it off, but it’s a behaviour I haven’t seen before@

Yes, Sony footage now gets the treatment.

Arri has been this way for some time, but X now reads the Sony metadata on import.

As you mention “Log Processing” is easy to turn on/off.

Are you saying this is deliberate? Why on earth would they add this especially without the option to turn it off!

You can turn it off in the inspector panel for the clips. Its called “Log Processing”. Just select “None”.

Thanks, I realise this but I want the option to have FCPX NOT apply a LUT on import especially as the Slog LUT isn’t very good! I’ll make a feature request.
