Hi planning on doing some filming on a canon hdv cam- we wanted to shoot stright to our raid, out of either the canon xhg1 or the xha1.

Is the signal going to look way better coming across the xhg1 hd sdi outputs uncompressed as apposed to coming from a xha1 componant analogue hd outputs umcompressed? We will be captureing uncompressed on the multibridge extreme.

I guess what I’m asking is … Is the analogue to digital converters on the multibrige as good as the analogue to digital converters on the canon. And is it worth the extra expense of getting the xhg1,when we already own the multibrige extreme.

    Thanks
    Miles
