    Hi,
I’m trying to create an effect similar to an LED matrix. I want to use the attached Illustrator file and make a white hot glow run from one box to the next (then to the next row…like a snake). I also want the lights to fade gradually, rather than just “ON” or “OFF.” I am pretty worthless when it comes to writing expressions (I can use the pickwhip…), but I’m interested in learning. Any tutorials or existing expressions to which you could direct me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi

There is a techie described in AE 7 total training, in witch you have to use hold and rowing key frames to create a very similar effect.

If you have the total training DVD check the lesson were you have to animate a fly and some lights turning on in a line.

I can give you more info as soon as I get to my workstation to see my DVD (next week)

    Regards
