    i have switched over from pc to mac for all my adobe software…
    one of the first things i noticed is that in windows version of illustrator i can easily duplicate a layer by using a keyboard shortcut which i believe was alt key (which would bring up the double arrow curser).

    i want to be able to use this feature in my mac version but its not there… PLEASE help
    this feature was one the most used of all of them.

    i am also noticing in cinema 4d the alt key doesnt do what was intended as well….SUPER FRUSTRATING…AND I AM A RACE CAR IN RED my friends

    PC and MAc Shortcuts are identical…

    Ctrl = Cmd (Apple Key)
    Alt = Option

    THe Ctrl Key on a mac is RARELY used
