    It was a rite of passage when I realized I knew more than the guy in the computer store.

    Now, with the InformationSuperhighway, there’s no reason to take the word of a salesperson on such matters. Google is your friend. As is the Cow.

    Reminds me of the last time I was in Radio Shack, remember the ads? You have questions? Radio Shack has answers. What I discovered was their answers are: “HUH?” “Whats that?” and “I don’t know.”

    Hey,

    My favorite is when they try to tell you that Apples were built from the ground up to do audio and video, and it is near impossible to do anything other than calculate a spreadsheet and check email with a PC.

    Yep, I have to convert my AE files to .txt files so I can work on them on the PC. They’re too big for Notepad, but Wordpad can open them fine.

    It’s a little bit more work, but it helps me understand expressions better.
