Rumor: MC 6.0 announcement
I heard an interesting rumor last week that Avid was getting ready to announce Media Composer 6.0 and, with it, additional “qualifications” for more AJA I/O hardware (i.e. Kona LHi, etc…).
Has anyone else heard rumblings?

Avid has said directly that they intend to support AJA Kona hardware, and Decklink and more Matrox and Motu. They had several press events over the summer announcing this.
