Rule of thumb on post-formatted drive size.
Is there a rule of thumb on the final capacity of a a drive post formatting? Using 10.4

If the manufacturer says it’s 160 gigs, it will format out at about 148.73… you can do the math, but that ratio would be the same on any drive. the formatting doesn’t allow you to get it all, but it’s not bad.
