rt playback troubleshooting
hi.
i have a mac book pro 2.4 Ghz intel core 2 duo and yesterday arrived my new dual quad 3.2 Ghz macpro.
I made some test with one clip from xdcam ex: 1920 x 1080 25p 35mbit.
In final cut pro i imported this clip, scaled down to 25%, duplicated it (picture in picture) to see how many streams i can playback in realtime and this what happen :
my mac book pro play in real time the two clip;
in my macpro the render bar of final cut became red, it needs to render!
the settings of rt in finalcut are both the same in macbook and in macpro:-safe rt;
-playback video quality: high;
-playback frame rate: full.How is possible that my Macpro dual quad is not able to playback in realtime two xdcam ex 1080p clip, while my macbook pro yes?
All settings in final cut are identical!
I try to trash pref of finalcut in the mac pro that like i said is just one day old and the hard disk is not full at all!someone can help me?
