RS422 control from Autodesk Smoke is not fully supported with version 2.0 firmware. The release notes for version 2.0 mention this:
“Other non-linear editors, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Autodesk Smoke and Sony Vegas, do not yet fully support ingest/output control via RS-422 when used with Ki Pro.”

AJA hopes to add support for more non-linear editors in forthcoming firmware updates.
