    Hi,

two questions or whishes (we use WIN XP):

    1. For grabbing or playing out a picture with Photoshop (Plugin) with DL cards it would be nice to have remote controlling a VTR (Assemble, Insert, Mark-In and Out….) over the DL cards RS-422.
Any chance to add to the Photoshop plugin a virtual remote control ?

    2. Same problem in Premiere Pro. Recording o.k., nice virtual remote control with preview.
But playing out to tape (Assemble, Insert, …..) from timeline no virtual remote control available.
Only a “very cheap” GUI appears where it is not possible to stop, run or shuttle a tape FF, Rew …. in VTR. Only direct numeric input of timecode possible.

Any chance to add to the Premiere Pro plugin a virtual remote control ?

    Thank you

    Hi Martin,

[Martin] “Any chance to add to the Photoshop plugin a virtual remote control ?”

That’s a great suggestion and I’ll pass it on. Meanwhile you can use Blackmagic Deck Control for this task. Firstly, place the deck in DT mode which is an abbreviation for dynamic tracking. It is also called Frame Mode on some decks. This will ensure that you see full resolution frames. Your video deck will respond to the standard keys used for deck control, i.e. spacebar,
