RS-422 on Sony 1800 male or female?
We don’t have our Beta SP 1800 deck in studio yet. I want to get all our cables and can’t remember if the RS-422 on an 1800 is male or female. Can anyone take a quick look and let me know? I’m thinking it is female.

Pretty sure all the RS422 connectors on machines are female (exception being on things like the DVW500 that has an additional ‘out’ connector).

I can confirm definitely that it’s absolutely female. I just checked.
