Royalty Free Buyout Music?

I have Liquid 7, and it comes with smartsound which is royalty free. Smartsound has fantastic tracks, they loop to the exact length that I need, and I find that 1,000$ usd for 15 Cds of this music is a good price. I have heard some of the backtracks library…they have some nice stuff, but I must admit that I prefer the smartsound tracks (personal taste)

Check out Sound Ideas. As a musician, I prefer having live musicians instead of electronic music. It is all personal taste. I really didn’t care for the backtraxx at all. I love their image libraries and graphics, but not music. Smartsound is a viable option, but be careful what you by to keep it “real” and not canned. Hope this helps. Research will pay off and you can sample libraries on line from Sound Ideas and possibly other libraries.

BackTraxx is OK, but their overall collection is more oriented toward corporate projects than weddings and events. The collection includes two CDs especially slanted toward weddings.

If you like to do your own mix, their “StackTraxx” collections allow you to do so.

Stock 20 sounds good as well, buy what you need is always cool, that way you don’t get stuck with duds the way you do with other services. The “special” they have today and tomorrow is a good deal, but you get stuck with some duds. It’ll be cool if they offer mix and match package deal in the future.
