Dear Gentlemen: My name is Alberto ferrigno, am the legal representative of a Mexican video company, we post our work in youtube/nature1upclose, am addressing this audience because I receive a message from a producer interested in using some of our footage in a documentary for NatGeo, however, I don´t know what is a fair price and under which circumstances, my intention is to sell only licenses, not the copyrights, Can any of you enlighten me?
    my email is bi************@*********et.mx

PS All of our footage is SD. (Minidv cameras)

    Thanks for any guidance.

Make sure you have a lawyer who understands US copyright law and make sure the contract calls for a license and not a copyright transfer. This is a situation where your lawyer will be able to help you a lot.
