    thanks in advance for this totally rookie question. i have a square path with rounded corners that i’ve imported and extruded. now all i need to do is give the front and the back some rounding without affecting the outside edges. tried fillet and bulge and obviously didn’t work for me. any help or different approach would be great. i suck…make me better, thanks.

    I would use a FFD (free form deformer). First make sure the spline you’re extruding has at least 4 – 5 points on each side. If not use Function>subdivide. Then change the extrude caps from the default ngons to quadrangles>regular grid. That will give you enough geometry to deform.
