Round Trip to FCP7 and DaVinci, Translation Document File?
After I render in DaVinci and I try to open the xml, Final Cut Pro 7 asks me to select a “Translation Document File”, does anyone know what that is? How to i get the project back to FCP.

That doesn’t sound normal, maybe your XML isn’t working correctly. Can you try a re-export ?
Also it would be helpful if you posted back in the same thread as before to make it easier to follow for others!

I’ve seen this message recently when I tried to import an XML that is meant for FCP7 into FCP6.
Check that you are indeed running FCP7 when you are importing the XML exported from Resolve.
