  Rotoscoping in CS5 – problem

  Hoping someone can explain the rotoscoping issue i’m having in AE CS5.

  I’m in the process of rotoscoping a short .mov file (non green/ blue screen) and after having rotoscoped aprox. 5 seconds worth, i freeze what rotoscoping has been done, upto this point. The problem is that when I unfreeze the file to continue, I am finding that randomly, some of the original rotoscoped footage is no longer keyed correctly, leaving me the task of re-rotoscoping the same footage.

  Any suggestions as to why this is happening and how to remedy are appreciated.
