I am doing a complex roto and need to be able to add points as I go. The problem that I’m encountering though is that if I add points lets say 10 frames from the last keyframe and then preview to the next keyframe, all the points are rotating. Yikes. What’s causing this? I’ve never run into this issue before.

    Thanks.

Make sure that preserve constant vertex count is checked in the prefs. Maye that will help.

Thanks for the response Pete. Actually, that was the checked preference and then I unchecked it to see if it fixed the problem. It didn’t. An odd problem for sure. I’ve moved on to Commotion for now but I’d still like to get this problem resolved.

Hi Richard, I think it would only fix the problem if you start your project with it turned on but it doesn’t change the masks that already exist.
