    Hello –
I need to create a curved grid of movies – almost like the curvature of the earth – that rotates toward the viewer. I tried using the CCspherize filter but once you zoom in enough to create the “curvature of the earth” effect the movies become pixelated – I suspect there is a much simpler way to create this effect but my AE knowledge is limited.
Thanks for any and all help,
    T

The grid layer should be twice as wide as it is high, and really big. For example, if it were a globe, and you wanted Australia to fill the screen when you zoom in, the map layer should be so big that Australia is the size of your TV frame, or thereabouts.
