rotate shape around center while scaling
I simply have a square that rotates around it’s center (the anchor point). But when I scale the shape itself (not the layer of course), the anchor point does not shift, so the rotation is not around it’s center anymore.
I cant seem to find a solution that satisfies me and neither can I find an answer when I search for it.

Hey Kees,
few things to clarify:
1. Are you rotating shape through its shapes’s transformation properties, or from general layer rotation?
2. I assume shape layer is not center aligned in the comp?It is not clear around which anchorpoint shape rotates, and it can be only guessed. If only ‘Transform: Rectangle 1’ transformation would be used, anchor point would stick.

Your questions made me think of a solution.
At first I refused to put the shape in the center of it’s layer. Because I wanted to have the end result in the corner of my screen, rotating and scaling. The scale would mean part of the shape would be out of bounds.
But in the end. I did put it in the center and just moved the layer as a whole while scaling the shape. This way it works fine. I just need to fine tune the timing.
