  • Rotate image around the anchor point

In the video below, I have Parented the position of leaf(center one) with the Brush position of CC glue gun effect using Pick-Whip.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0u8xYGoiFJ8

Now whenever I pick-whip the position of leaf to that of brush, the leaf will be just above the correct position of brush. Now to bring it to the correct position I have moved the anchor point a little bit.

Now the problem comes when I try to rotate the leaf. I want it to give some rotation with time like other leafs have but because of the anchor point which is not at the center of leaf, it will loose its original position with time.

    How cam I achieve this?

Can’t really tell what’s happening in the video. However, from your description I’d recommend tying the Glue Gun point to a null object instead of directly to the leaf. Use the null to drive the Glue Gun position. Parent the leaf to the null object and rotate it separately around its own axis.

    Thanks Mr. Edelen.
It works perfectly fine when I am using a null object and parenting the leaf to it.
    Thanks a lot 🙂
