Most of us have used Lowell lights on a shoot or in a studio at some time. And the indispensable gaffer tape has found a place in most every toolkit.
Ross Lowell has left us a legacy of light. He died on February 15 at the age of 92.

I’ve used his lights my entire career, and continue to do so. Was given a new kit this past year to replace the Onmis I’ve used weekly for over 30 years. Except for the stands, everything was still in reliable working shape in that old kit, just a bit scuffed-up . I wish I could say as well for myself:-)
