    Thanks John. That worked great.

    Also, I had to pre-compose the layer before the CC Force Motion Blur would work with this effect.

    Effect>Stylize>Motion Tile offers a similar effect and it supports Motion Blur.

    I tried it that way also and I still had to pre-compose the layer in order for CC Force Motion Blur to work. I’m using CS5.5

    I used NewBlue’s Motion Blur and that worked without having to pre-compose.

    You OBVIOUSLY did it backasswards! But as long as it works for you … .
