Roll edit tool question
When using the roll tool in CS6 I seem to be constrained by the adjacent clip. I would like the ability to roll over multiple edits if I want, but Premiere blocks me, preserving the last frame of the adjacent clip. Is there a way to override this?

I don’t believe so, the clip will need to be deleted before you can continue to roll over the clips.
The rolling edit tool affects clips on both sides of the edit so it treats each as blocks you want to keep, rather than one block overwriting the other.
Maybe a suggestion to Adobe to add an overwrite edit tool, but for now no dice.
