Rode Video Go Mic not working on the eos c100
The Rode video go mic plugged into the MIC port on the new eos c100 is not working. Is this mic compatible with the cam?
Tried switching to EXT settings on the camera’s internal mic arm and then tried taking the arm off and having the only audio input be the rode mic into the MIC port…still not picking up any audio.Can someone troubleshoot? Thank you….

Does the C100’s mic port have 2.5v plug-in power? If not, the Rode Videomic Go will not work. It requires power from the camera. Most pro cameras don’t have this, since it’s really a feature reserved for extremely low-end mics and consumer camcorders.
