    Hi,
I am sorry for my ignorance but I am interested in buying one RocketRAID 2310 Sata controller and 4 sata hard drives to work with an Intensity card, for it, Could anybody advice me if this controller sata works fine with Intensity card? What hard drives should I buy?
    Thanks in Advance

why would you buy the 2310? It only uses internal drives, and no external enclosure. Dont’ you want an external drive array ?
The 2314 is a better idea, and you can get these “preconfigured” by simply buying a Cal Digit HDElement or the G-Tech G-Speed eS (which uses the Highpoint card). Why do it yourself ?

The 2310 card is similar to 2314.

One card is a internal 4 port, the other is a external 4 port. Both cards are very affordable software raid cards, but with a little extra money you could get a hardware based CalDigit RAID card, which is now on SALE for a low $349.00.

Take a look at this comparison between the CalDigit RAID Card & HDElement & the G-speed ES
