    Tried to import 3D Max rendered RLA/RPF files into AE 7 on MacOSX 10.4.5, and only managed to get this irritating pop up message

    Ater Effects error:
    This file format has not yet been revised to draw into float worlds.
    (39::39)

    oddly poetic but incomprehensible. Have happily imported RLA’s before in AE6.5.
    Anybody know a fix, patch or workaround?

    i have no experience with max rendered files, but it sounds like error is saying that the files are 32bit (vs 8 or 16) and it will only import up to 16bit

    are these HDR files?

    who is that masked man…
