Hi just wanting to know, how would i bring out the color, without blowing my image out, or making it dark. My footage is a bit washed out, so i fixed that, but i want to bring out the color, without making it any darker or lighter. I have seen it done, but am unable to find out how. Thanks, Timothy

Vibrance and Curves work well together.

I like to use an adjustment layer with the Curves filter (or Hue/Saturation), but to set the adjustment layer’s blend mode to “Color” — this will cause the effects to alter only the color information (hue and saturation) and not the luminance information.
