May 30, 2006 at 9:53 pmIf you are using Premiere Pro 2.0, you can copy the .VOB to your hard drive and change the name to .mpg
If there is no copy protection (your client burned it themselves or had someone do it on a PC) then it works fine. It does not work if copy protection is involved. In that case you need a program like ImTOO DVD Ripper.

June 1, 2006 at 1:40 amIt imports the audio multiplexed in the video. I know nothing about AC3 unfortunately.

June 6, 2006 at 5:39 pmI tried this method today – I get the audio but the video shows black except for about 50 pixels at the bottom.
However I can export to AVI with no problem, which is what I want to work with anyways.
