  • Ripped DVD files VTS audio coming up Short

Good Morning, it’s been a while, but I ripped a DVD into Vegas 12 yesterday, and was going to re-edit the files etc.
I noticed when I drug the files to the timeline, that upon closer inspection at the end of each file the audio file was coming up short compared to the video file. (usually are the same length) I don’t remember this happening before when I rip the DVD, did I change something in settings? FYI just for kicks I stretched the audio file to fit the length of the video file… Got out of sync when I played it back. Any suggestions would be helpful thank you.!!

Is the audio thats there out of sync? It’s out of sync when you stretch the audio out what about if you compress the video to match the audio?

If this is from a home made DVD as opposed to a commercial one try this technique.
