right levels for vlogging with rode videomic pro???
So to keep it short and sweet I have a canon t3i and just bought the rode videomic pro, I’ve done a lot of research on it and found that every one suggest to have the high pass filter on, with +20db and the cameras audio level all they way down and then plus 4. However, I use it for vlogging and up close shots(selfies) and when I get excited/raise my voice it’s completely blown out, but sounds really great when I’m quiet. Any suggestions on a setting to use that can keep up with both extreme ranges and still cancel out the infamous audio “hiss”??
