We are shooting a promo reel using a green cyc and a white cyc. The environment for our reel is white and we have 3D elements. We are shooting on a Vericam 3700 to a cinedeck via dual link SDI. We will be recording to 10 bit uncompressed or Pro Res 4444. What is your opinion on using RGB vs YUV when working in AE? Thanks!

AE works in RGB, not YUV, so if you start with RGB then that’s one less conversion the program has to make. Though if you’re shooting YUV 444 I don’t think it will make a huge difference (RGB is inherently 444, as it were).
