    Howdy CC’ers
I’ve been trying to take a red layer, a green layer, and a blue layer and reassemble them into one image, using those three layers as RGB components. My first thought was to use ‘Set Channels’, but the result doesn’t look like it should. It’s possible that my layers are not right for creating the image that I’m expecting, but how about that RGB assembly process? Has anyone done the same? Am I on the right path?

oh, for more detail – I have a comp with three layers in it, each representing a channel from R, G, & B. Then I add a Solid to the comp and apply ‘Set Channels’, using the red channel from the red layer, and so forth.

    thanks in advance,
    JohnnyW

I think you might need to convert your layers to grayscale first.
