    Hi All,

Been searching the forums for an answer to this and have seen some conflicting information.

Here’s what I’m trying to do:

    – Produce a 60 minute ‘slideshow’ video of photographs that pan, zoom, and fade in and out of each other.

    – Produce this in MPEG-2 format so it can be played on a standard DVD player.

Should I be producing the photgraphs in RGB or sRGB format from photoshop for import into Vegas?

Also, since this DVD isn’t intended for broadcast, do I have to worry about broadcast safe colors?

If so, do I just run the SONY BROADCAST COLORS effect once complete and call it a day?

I mostly produce video for the web so this is new territory for me…

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Steve

As long as you are processing them in Photoshop, you want your images to use sRGB and Photoshop has a broadcast safe action as well. If you use the Sony Broadcast Colors it will simply clamp down the black and white points which could loss detail in certain photos. I believe doing it in Photoshop will adjust the levels to be within the broadcast safe range so that you don’t loose any detail.
