RGB Input Values in AE CC go up to infinity??
Hi Everyone,
I recently switched to After Effects CC and I noticed that every time I want to input RGB values for a specific color (such as for a solid layer), gone are the familiar 0-255 ranges across RGB that we all know and love, and instead the default “white” value is 32,768, 32,768, 32,768. I can scrub these numbers from 0 up to the hundreds of thousands…How do I switch back to the 0-255 option?
System:
8-Core Mac Pro
8gb RAM
OSX Mountain Lion

The answer is in the menu (top right) for your Info Panel. If it’s set to 16bpc then your color values will max at 32768. Another possibility is if your Info Panel is set to Auto Color Display AND your project is set to 16bpc.

LOL so this was not a CC issue at all, just a logical effect of playing with the color channels for this new project…thank you!
